ALMA COFFEE FUNDRAISER NOW OPEN! | LGPE CONCERT PERFORMANCE MARCH 11th @ REINHARDT UNIVERSITY

Etowah Eagle Band Volunteers

Get involved as a volunteer!

Volunteering with the band offers opportunities for parents to share experiences with their students and get to know other parents in our community. We work hard, but it feels like fun and is a great way to see your student in action from behind the scenes. If we all pitch in a little we can accomplish a lot. It takes a village to make our program a success!

Families are expected to help out by logging 20 hours throughout the year. You can always sign up for more!

Below are sign-ups and descriptions of volunteer opportunities for you as a parent to get involved in our program. Feel free to contact our First VP for more details.

All volunteers must fill out the CCSD Volunteer/Mentor Application and sign the Guidelines for Volunteers each year and return it to Mr. Long. All forms needed to volunteer are listed at the bottom of this page.

We are excited to host the GIPA (Georgia Indoor Percussion Association) Competition on March 14, 2026, and we need LOTS of volunteers to help make this huge event a success!
As part of hosting this GIPA competition, we are responsible for providing a Director Hospitality Room where unit directors and staff can relax, eat, and connect throughout the day. We are asking our amazing band parents to help by donating food and beverages to make this a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests.
We are looking for volunteers to serve as Roadies for our Indoor Percussion group at competitions. Roadies help move percussion instruments and props on and off the performance floor—your help is essential to a smooth and successful show!
We need 1 parent at each practice to help keep students hydrated and provide first aid if needed. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!
We need 1 parent for each practice to help make sure the students stay hydrated and have light first aid available if needed for all practices.
